The inaugural Joni Roberts Memorial Art Scholarship at Guntersville High School was presented tonight to Mary Kennon Wolford by great friend Ginger Lashley & TR. Mary Kennon is the valedictorian of the senior class of 2017 and is so deserving. I know that Joni would be thrilled. Mary Kennon will be attending Nossi College of Art in Nashville, Tennessee. She wants to study graphic design with the goal of becoming a concept artist, cartoonist or graphic novelist. Mary Kennon's choice of schools certainly struck a personal chord. Joni & I were married in Nolensville, Tennessee, and spent nine fun years living in Nashville before moving back here to my hometown in 1990. Congratulations, Mary Kennon...and as Joni would say, "Mary Kennon, you go girl!
